Just thought I would mention to all my friends at the Waukesha County Board a little number they might want to keep in mind the next time they meet, you know, the next time Jim Dwyer is up to making the long drive from Menomonee Falls.
The number I'm being told is nine. That's the number that will be on the petitions for referendum if the County Board doesn't take action first and reduce their size.
Take a good, long look around the room and decide which nine of you are going to be sitting there after the next election.
No increased compensation (it's not like you're going to the scheduled committee meetings either). Nine of you.
Better get out your crayons and start drawing maps.
