AFP TABOR pledge signatories in the 33rd

Americans for Prosperity have announced that each of the five Republican candidates running for election in the 33rd Assembly District have signed a pledge of their support for a Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR).
Candidates Troy Fullerton, David Marlow, Scott Newcomer, Jack Perry, and Kent Woods each signed the pledge, which states in part that they “believe in fiscal discipline and that government should not pose an unnecessary burden on taxpayers… .” By signing the document, the contenders for the 33rd District have declared that yearly state spending growth should be limited to the rate of inflation plus population growth; that excess revenues collected must be used to create budget stabilization and emergency funds, and then be refunded to taxpayers; and that tax increases should only be enacted by the “people’s vote.”
The pledge can be found at the Americans for Prosperity website. People not running for office are encouraged to sign "The Citizen Pledge" of support for TABOR as well.
