Well, it was fun while it lasted

No, really.
Name-calling. Attempted bribery. Heated exchanges in the comment sections. With all precincts reporting and numbers rounded up to the nearest precentage point, the winner of this week's contest is...

Haverchuk.

The win is handed down in the wake of an aggressive campaign waged by competitor Wigderson Library & Pub.

Haverchuk documents a life of food -- at home, at a restaurant, at the grocery store -- in pictures and text. Recent photo-laced entries include preparing a hearty sandwich for dinner, a walk-through with ingredients and instructions for preparing fish tacos, and even a trip to the Milwaukee Public Market.
I shudder to think what kind of world I'm bringing my children into if I can't teach them that cheating, lying and general poor sportsmanship can't even win you a worthless contest if you're a Conservative. It's at times like this we must accept our failures, as well as our successes, with quiet dignity and grace.
