Cheerleader update

Because you wanted it.

Belle at Leaning Blue points out a number of red-blooded bloggers who showed an interest in the Carolina Panther cheerleader story. She asks, why are they all conservatives?

Ahem. It's not just conservatives. Former Madison Mayor Paul Soglin gives the cheerleaders not just one post, but two.

One wonders if Soglin will be disappointed to learn that one cheerleader, Renee Thomas, denies anything sexual occurred, and that Tampa police have said the allegations of sexual conduct have "nothing to do with the charges."

Of course, that hasn't stopped the bar owner from taking advantage of the situation.
Starting on Friday, Banana Joe's -- the Tampa bar now famous for the Carolina Panthers cheerleader scuffle -- will offer no cover to anyone (male or female) that shows up dressed like a cheerleader.

Professional cheerleader? You drink for free.
But they're not alone. A gambling website with a former Indiapolis Colts cheerleader is "not denying" the rumor the former cheerleader will be appearing nude in an upcoming issue of Playboy. They've even gone so far as to publish their own pictures of her on the site.
