Adults among us

GBfan at Spotted Horse mentions a disturbing trend of the former Miers supporters. "it's time for the adults to take over the Republican Party." The last time I heard rhetoric like that within the GOP was 1988 when we were promised that the "adults" in the Bush (GHW) wing of the Republican Party would really show us Reaganites how things could get done. Yeah, that turned out so well for the party didn't it?
