Biblical Prophet armed with an axe

Bill Christofferson, like most leftists of his generation, apparently has no historical, cultural, literary or religious understanding of an era prior to some really bad folk music.

Christofferson writes,

For every poll there is a reason;
Spin, spin, spin again ...

(Apologies to Pete Seeger for the headline)

*sigh* Would it be pedantic of me to point out Seeger was only the author of the last line of his song, and the rest was taken from Ecclesiastes? We'll give Christofferson credit for not mistakenly giving credit to David Crosby or Roger McGuinn.

Maybe to have apologized to the Biblical author would've violated some lefty separation of church and blogging and he would have to turn in his blogging union card. Meanwhile, we await the day he posts on the whole Bobbie Dylan going electric controversy.

Update! 10/12/05:
Sadly, the Libertarians can't get it right either. "Lets go back to Psalms, or at least to the Byrds, and to everything let there be a SEASON." auuughh!
