The follys of blogging

Jib tells the sad tale of a blog which soared to great heights before crashing like Icarus. The moral? "Links are good, but you need to build up a regular stable of visitors that don't come to you via someone else's site."

Yeah, yeah, all well and good, but my numbers are down this month and I need a couple more Charlie hits and maybe an Instapundit hit to set a new record. All of which would mean something if I actually sold advertising.
