Finley supports Vrakas

And then there were two. Jenifer Finley has announced she is not running for Waukesha County Executive and she has agreed to become State Representative Dan Vrakas' campaign "chairperson"(via Jessica McBride).

Meanwhile, Dennis Shook of the Waukesha Freeman has apparently not gotten the memo and claims Jenifer Finley has announced her candidacy today.

The wife of Waukesha County Executive Daniel Finley announced today she will now seek to succeed him.

Finley announced her run in a 9 a.m. press conference this morning in front of the Waukesha County Courthouse.

However, since I started typing this post Shook's article has been pulled down. See what happens when you write things in advance?

Update! 10:45am Dennis Shook has now read the memo and Wispolitics.com is running the current version of events. Someone is checking for me to see if Dennis Shook was even at the announcement.

Update! 7:28pm I have it on good authority Dennis Shook was actually in attendance when Finley made her announcement endorsing Vrakas. Oh, to see the expression on Shook's face when he realized he made a major boo-boo when Vrakas stood next to Jenifer on the podium. Must've been hilarious. I did contact his editor but I have not had a response yet.
