The rally drew a mixed response from traffic driving by on Walnut Street. There were several honks and thumbs-up from drivers, but there were thumbs-down gestures and other upraised digits from others.I don't think they were indicating the protestors are #1.
Too bad he didn't write the verbal responses, but it is a family newspaper after all. The usual retort of "get a job" to hippy protestors may have been appropriate.
