The NFL Schedule is out and they’re playing Christmas weekend again, but not so much on Christmas Day. The Dallas Cowboys play at Carolina at 12:00pm CST Christmas Eve, which means I get to watch the 2nd half at my parents. I can drive that fast at half time, right?
Christmas Day at the in-laws. The Green Bay Packer game is on 3:15 CST, which means we’ll have just finished dinner and the kids will be opening their presents. May have to tape the game for the wife; or convince the family to gather right after church, open presents and then eat. (Memo to self: brother-in-law will screw this up.)
I’m glad to see the NFL has scheduled less games for Christmas Day. I know Packer fans will be unhappy they are one of the two games, but it could’ve been worse. It could’ve have been the noon game.
Besides, it’s not like the game is going to mean anything except which high draft pick the Packers are going to end up with.
