The investigation must be thorough, to settle a furious community debate over whether some city residents committed fraud on election day. Perhaps contradictorily, speed also should mark the probe, to bring that divisive debate to a quick conclusion. The sooner the findings are in, the more likely they can influence public policies lawmakers may adopt in response to their perception of election problems.So Jeff Borowski, Spivak and Bice, get back to work. I guess the reporters can continue their work
I had a friend in college who like to refer to people who changed their minds on a regular basis, "sunfish". When you toss a sunfish on the dock in the sun, the theory went, they flipped and flopped back and forth. In honor of Jeff (wherever he may be) we'll institute the Sunfish Award. Appropriately, today's Sunfish Award goes to the Journal Sentinel editorial board for, "Editorial: Election probe welcome".
