The AG Derby

Spivak and Bice are reporting Paul Bucher (insert horse whinney here) is seriously considering running for attorney general. They report a friend of Bucher's saying, "He's at the stage where he has to make a jump or he's DA for life."

Run, Paul, run! With any luck, we'll get the best of both worlds. Bucher loses the primary to Mark Gundrum and Waukesha gets a new DA.

But what if he wins the primary? Oh no.

Lautenschlager's folks already are licking their chops at the prospect of facing Bucher.

"Bucher would provide us with case after case of prosecutorial ineptness," gloated one Lautenschlager political ally.

I think she loses, but Bucher (horse whinney again) will only serve one term. I promise.
