ABC is apologizing for the latest Monday Night Football opening sequence. Apparently the NFL is supposed to be family entertainment. Okay, so can we get rid of the Viagra and Cialis commercials? How about the Enzyte commercials? Coors Lite commercials with "the twins"?
How about if the NFL asks Fox to stop advertising its racier programs during games? How about if they at least tone down the commercials? Surely they could be selling that advertising rather than using it internally to promote the latest episode of sexual hijinks on "That 70s Show"?
Better yet, how about the broadcast networks just clean up their acts entirely, or the NFL stop pretending it's family fare when it hasn't been for some time?
