Citizens blocking the ethanol mandate

Good read at Charlie Sykes' blog on the sudden decision by State Senator Luthor Olsen to drop his sponsorship of the ethanol mandate. Seems Olsen's constituents got a little cranky when they heard about the Senator's family connections to the ethanol industry. Interesting, the e-mail from Olsen's chief of staff to Olsen's brother also indicates the bill is pretty much dead in the Assembly, even if the Senate passes it. We may finally have turned the corner on this issue - until the next crazy ethanol idea comes along.
