What a beautiful day

A librarian at the Menomonee Falls library was kind enough to open up the second floor porch for me to work from today. The weather has been just perfect. I could do with a better view than the police station and courthouse, and the Pizza Hut. But the breeze blowing through the screen and the clouds moving slowly across the sunny sky has made my working conditions just perfect today.

Of course, if the Republicans in the state assembly have their way, the libraries will be burned to the ground to fuel the barrels to keep the homeless warm while intelligent apes ransack the police department to steal weapons in advance of the coming Global Warming while mutants start moving to the sewers to worship a planet destroying nuclear missile.

It's all in this week's column, with Ed Garvey starring as Dr. Zaius.
