It's 3:00 AM. Do you know what your columnist is writing?

For those of you who can't get enough discussion of building a stadium at Frame Park, you'll want to read my thoughts in the Waukesha Freeman following Tuesday night's vote.  Definitely worth the 50 cents, but not the $205,000 we're going to be investing into the lights.*

Small confession.  Sitting over in the press area, I was concerned there might not be a good evacuation route if the vote was 7-7 with the mayor breaking the tie.  Linda McAlpine of the Freeman seemed genuinely concerned, too.  On the other hand, when has Larry Nelson ever come close to a tie?

Speaking of which, the Larry Nelson fashion report:  Purple Crocs, blue pants, pink shirt, white jacket.  For those of you thinking of donating to the city a collection of ties for the mayor to wear to the Democratic National Convention, please give generously.

Next time I'm bringing my laptop computer and plugging in.

* correction on earlier post: It came out during Tuesday night's meeting the total needed to improve the lights was about $265,000 including installation. However, the lighting change is for cosmetic and efficiency reasons rather than absolutely necessary.
