Grumps in Evansville has some bad news for local residents. Construction has stopped on the proposed biodiesel plant due to “rapidly rising commodity prices and the decision by a key lender to withdraw from its loan commitment.”
Following his advice and reading the comments, I see someone asked, "Come to think of it, Doyle gave a grant and a fat groundbreaking ceremony to Prarieland. Will those costs get recovered?"
The tab for the taxpayers was $250,000. I'm sure Governor Doyle is right on it to ask for the money back.
