Dobson moves into the isolation tank

Even as former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is showing the limits of running solely on evangelical support within the Republican Party, James Dobson of Focus on the Family is going to endorse him. On Tuesday Dobson declared,
“I am convinced Sen. McCain is not a conservative, and in fact, has gone out of his way to stick his thumb in the eyes of those who are … I cannot, and will not, vote for Sen. John McCain, as a matter of conscience.”
So Dobson has now endorsed another candidate that isn't a conservative.

Dobson also claims that his endorsement is personal, and does not reflect his organization. While it may not be a formal act of his organization, what is Focus on the Family without Dobson? So he leads his followers into isolation, oblivious of the deal cut in West Virginia, unaware of what harm a Clinton or Obama presidency could do to his cause.

When Huckabee finally endorses McCain, and he will, what will Dobson do?
