I'm willing to do my part

Jay Bullock at folkbum's rambles and rants supports the WGA strike with a poignant video making it clear how his union brethern are suffering under the oppressive heal of Hollywood management. I for one am feeling more enlightened, and I think Jay is right, it's all one big union.

I think a reasonable compromise between union and management can be reached. I suggest Hollywood studios promise to be more vigorous in collecting royalties from teachers that show movies in the classrooms (especially on hangover Mondays) and then pass along a reasonable portion of the proceeds to the screenwriters. I'm betting it doubles the median income.
