We'll out uncivil you

Keith Schmitz, another of Jay Bullock's recruits at folkbum's rambles and rants, announces "The Dunk Tank is Open".
Tomorrow Charlie Sykes will be on the very media he has derided for years -- The Wisconsin Ideas Network - laterally working without a net. That being his screener who keeps the liberals at bay and Chuck's control of the dump button.

Like Brigadoon, this doesn't happen very often. But hey, he has a book to plug and it is the now well discussed "50 Rules Your Kids Won't Learn in School." Seems like he wants to plug this book so badly he will subject himself to the rotten tomatoes that will hurled his way.

He'll be on with Joy Cardin at 7:00 tomorrow morning, and the call in line is 800-642-1234 (outstate) and 263-1890 (Madison and Milwaukee).

For those of you who might like to prep, your bucket of baseballs is here, here and right here.
Hardly a call to civil discussion of Sykes' new book, "50 Rules Kids Won't Learn in School: Real-World Antidotes to Feel-Good Education". The second commenter, Capper, another of Jay's extras and a commenter here as well, didn't miss Schmitz's point, "I love the smell of burnt Chuck in the morning..."

Of course, Sykes has been on the air for years now and is pretty capable debater. I suspect the only roasting will be of the weenies who think they're going to get away with taking cheap shots at Charlie. I also don't think Joy Cardin is going to let the loonies go too far off the reservation. I think it's going to be rather typical fare for public radio, which is to say it's going be rather dull.

Update! I see one of my own commenters is already in the swing of things.
