July is national hot dog month

Some spoil sport, nutritionist Susan Levin of Washington DC, wrote a letter to the Waukesha Freeman lecturing us on the nutritional value of hot dogs. I did a little digging on the internet and found Susan Levin of the PCRM.
Before joining PCRM, Ms. Levin taught English to biomedical English majors at the Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing. Her lectures on nutrition to the school’s professors and students emphasized the healthfulness of the traditional plant-based Chinese diet.
If you want to be a good totalitarian, Peking is as good as any place to learn. Did it ever occur to her that "the traditional plant-based Chinese diet" is because they were poor?

I wonder how many parents of the students she taught wished they could've had a nice fatty hot dog full of nitrates.
