Glad they cleared that up

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Michael McGee Jr's threat to kill someone might just be a simple misunderstanding of the urban dialect:
Milwaukee Ald. Michael McGee and two other men discussed killing a man and settled on a "beat down," District Attorney John Chisholm said in court today.

McGee's attorney, Glen Givens, said prosecutors are confused about street language and at worst the trio were guilty of planning a battery, which is a misdemeanor.
Well, if that's all it was, why I'm sure it's perfectly acceptable for an elected official to plan misdemeanor battery.
