We owe the voters no less than clean elections.”I'd settle for a better vocabulary for politicians. But we would also remind King that the most famous occurrence of three contenders for office behaving in a collegial (tri-partisan?) manner was Mark Antony, Octavian Caesar and Marcus Lepidus killing Brutus and Cassius at the Battle of Phillipi, ending the Roman republic.
Perhaps that's why I admire good partisans.
