Brian Fraley has been all over attempts by some members of the Milwaukee County Board to remove Chairman Lee Holloway, who is under investigation for serious ethics violations. Okay, he's guilty, guilty, guilty. Holloway's motto since the charges has been "Hell no, I won't go, and you can't make me. Plllpth."
Ten county supervisors, a majority, are now demanding an election be held to replace the chairman. Court battles loom. It will definitely get ugly.
But what if Holloway manages to win the election for County Board Chairman? Even if he needs a majority of supervisors to hang onto his job (an open question), all he needs is one defector from the gang of ten. One.
