At least he lives in the district

State Representative Rich Zipperer's Democratic opponent in the 98th Assembly district may live in the district, but I wonder if Zipperer's people will challenge his place on the ballot. Victor Weers only gathered 213 nomination signatures for his candidacy. The minimum needed is 200. Given the zigs and zags of the of the district line near Weers' home, I suspect it would not take much to find 14 people who signed Weers nomination papers that do not live in the district.

Two years ago Zipperer won the Republican Primary in a crowded field and then faced Democrat Sterling Lynk who did not live in the district.
