RIP Jim Ryan

Long time Hales Corners Village President Jim Ryan passed away Tuesday morning. It is the cruelty of politics that most of us will remember Ryan as the candidate who lost to Scott Walker in 2002 after the Milwaukee County pension scandal drove Tom Ament from office. Ryan, however, had a long career of serving the public, and he will be missed by his community.
