Bo Black suffers stroke

Former Summerfest executive director Bo Black suffered a stroke yesterday. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting,
Black, 61, suffered a stroke Sunday morning caused by a ruptured aneurysm in the posterior part of her brain, her family said in a statement.

She has undergone two surgical procedures, the first to release pressure on her brain and the second to repair the aneurysm and prevent further internal bleeding, the statement said.

She underwent the first surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare's Osborn campus on Sunday and the second at Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix on Monday, her family said.

Black was in critical condition at St. Joseph's on Tuesday night, according to the hospital.
We'd like to offer our thoughts and prayers for a full recovery.
